In one of the most anticipated fashion show events at L.A. Fashion Week hosted by Mercedes Benz and Smash
Box Studios, Jennifer Nicholson unveiled her fall 2006 collection.
The catwalk was a blaze with dresses in layers of ruffles and sheer metallic looks - along with fanciful prints.
The collection included denim skirts that were embroidered with artsy deer and log cabins.
One highlight of the Jennifer Nicholson collection was a pink sheer bow dress that looked as if it was made out of rubber.
Among the celebrities attending the fashion show were Paula Abdul, Lisa Rinna, Rebecca de Mornay, Lara Flynn-Boyle, and Jennifer Nicholson famous father, actor Jack Nicholson.
The standing room only show started almost an hour late as Jack Nicholson; a big Laker basketball fan was delayed en route from a Laker game.
Fashion Week was marked by campy gimmickry that has ranged from models who stop the show to perform impromptu guitar solos to an androgynous hoola-hoop artist and extending to the over-the-top theatrics of an actor impersonating a Catholic priest sprinkling holy water on the audience, according to Beverly Hills People, who covered the week long fashion event.
