THE RAW FILES: The Making of a Photograph (Mac)

Mclain Swift just posted an interesting "making of" tutorial for the image above over at the RAW FILES blog. While it's a simple lighting set up, this is a good introduction to the setup process, lighting basics, and post-production.

In other news, I'd also like to thank Mclain for taking on the role of moderator over at the Art Nudes Forum. He'll be taking care of cleaning out the spam posts when I'm too busy or just not paying attention. Thanks Mac!Source URL: https://foringsorehomes.blogspot.com/search/label/forum

Dennis Kelly

Photographer Dennis Kelly recently posted a series of images at the Art Nudes forum page that I had to share on the main blog. The images are an attempt at recreating Steve Richard's inspiring Cloud Busting series.

I think Dennis did a great job, and I appreciate his honesty about the source of his inspiration.

This is also a good time to remind you that the woefully under utilized Art Nudes Community Forum is still up and available for you to post your own work and interact with your fellow readers.

Here's the direct link to Dennis' excellent images.

The Art Nudes Forum appears to be back up. It was working for me this morning at least. Your mileage may vary. Please give it a try.

I've now learned the main forum host PHPBB fell victim to a hacker and was experiencing system wide problems.
