    Looks like Lindsay Lohan is mesmerized as she stares at a display of sexy, hot boots.


    The actress and fashion designer really enjoys shopping, as you can readily see from her facial expressions, as she checks out several pairs of hot, sexy boots.


    Lohan is also embracing one of the looks we noted on celebrities and runway models recently - a totally braless look.


    She also seems to be courting the paparazzi attention as she smiles and grins, as she bends over to pickup a pair of boots or jacket to try on.

"The Two Coreys"

    Corey Haim and Corey Feldman will star in a new reality series called none other than, "The Two Coreys".

    The former child stars, both 35, were the teenage heartthrobs of the 1980's.

    Now the pair will be reuniting for a reality television show in which the two Corey's and Feldman's wife live together. The show premieres in just over a month.

    Besides both being child stars, the two Corey's have battled with drug and alcohol addiction in the past.

    Says Feldman of his friend, "It was my belief that he was kind of a young doe lost amongst the wildebeests, and that we might never hear from him again until he ended up on the news. So the fact he actually suited up and came to the table and got his act together blew me away."

    Corey Haim says working with Feldman has been a joy and that the two have gotten close once again, but that sometimes it's not easy living with the Feldman's.

    "He does everything with his wife. It's like, 'Cut the umbilical cord, man...' It's a little overboard for my tastes, but that's just me being the jealous friend. I love Susan. It's just that I hate the fact that she's changed him so drastically... for the better."

Rare Photgraphs of Marilyn Monroe on Display in New York

    Photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken months before her death have gone on display at POP International Galleries in New York City.

    'Life' photographer Lawrence Schiller took the pictures in May 1962 on the set of the film "Something's Got to Give."

    Marilyn died three months later.

    Schiller had photographed Marilyn at many points in her short life. But this photo shoot was Monroe's last.

    The photos originally appeared in Life magazine, Paris Match and The London Times and other publications.

    "She was a very lovable, huggable person," said Schiller, now 70.

    "Marilyn was a great actress, not a dumb blond bombshell. She was very smart, very astute and a good businesswoman."

    "She knew what to do," he said. "She took direction very well, but you didn't have to tell Marilyn how to pose."

    "She was at a very, very good moment in her life," he said.

    You can buy prints of the photographs for between $3,000 and $5,500 per picture or between $30,000 and $50,000 for the complete set.

    Schiller said he saw Marilyn to discuss a shoot for Playboy magazine on August 5th, the day she died.

    "I was at her house the morning she died," he said. He added that the sex symbol seemed to be fine during his visit.

Pete Doherty Before Fame, Fortune and Drug Addiction

    This is a great vintage clip of MTV interviewing Pete Doherty as an unknown teen waiting in line to buy the latest Oasis CD at the time.

    He keeps the interviewer entertained with his quips and even references Italian philosopher Umberto Eco.

    Pete's fresh faced appearance is a far cry from dishevelled look he adopts today.

    Showing early signs of his talent for poetry the teenager declares: "I subscribe to the Umberto Eco view that Noel Gallagher's a poet and Liam's a town crier and I've always seen that as a perfect combination."

I Love the 80's!

    This time we're going with 'Sara' by Fleetwood Mac.

    One of my all-time favorite songs, and I guess I would have to say that Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands.

    The first clip is Stevie Nicks singing 'Sara' live in 1983. (The song was originally released in 1979). Stevie is amazing live, even to this day.

    In the second video is a 45 second clip of the band in the 70's in the recording studio working on 'Sara'. Lindsay Buckingham looks so young!

'Joy Division' Film Brings Praise at Cannes

    A British movie about 80's alternative band, Joy Division singer Ian Curtis, opened the 60th Cannes Film Festival's Director's Fortnight and has received a warm reception.

    'Control' is based on the life of Ian Curtis who committed suicide at the tender age of 23 by hanging. His role was played by newcomer Sam Riley. Riley said he was "working in a warehouse in Leeds folding shirts" when he was cast for the role.

    Film director Anton Corbijn said the fresh face had brought "an innocence and freshness that I was hoping for but never thought I would find".

    "This is a very hard role for anybody to play, because it is very hard to fit in somebody's shoes who has become an icon in many people's eyes."

    "I can't think of the movie without Sam, to be very honest - I think he gave everything to that role.

    "It was his first film, it was my first film - in a way we had nothing to lose."

    The story describes Curtis' short life, his struggle with epilepsy, and his love for his wife and a Belgian mistress he meets while on tour.

    Riley said his research for the role of Ian Curtis involved studying epilepsy and it's effects, as well as watching hours of footage of Curtis's live performances.

    "I spent a lot of time in the mirror doing dance moves. I tried to play him as fairly normal bloke, with an exceptional talent.

    "He was an incredibly enigmatic performer..unusual, and uncomfortable in a way. And a fantastic lyricist for his age, for any age."

    The surviving members of Joy Division, who soon after Curtis' death formed the hugely successful 'New Order', have seen the movie and according to Corbijn, they all loved it.

    "They hardly ever agree on anything together, but they have agreed that they all love the film."

Vintage Pamela Anderson

    Ok.

    I know I have given Pam some shit over the years but I really do love her. She is a gorgeous sex kitten, an aging one, but still gorgeous.

    She has always had a way about her, where she really doesn't give a shit about what the media thinks. She has a good time no matter what.

    Sometimes I do think that Pam is being a bit selfish, only in that she still parties like a rock star even though she has hepatitis. And that would be fine except that Pamela has babies. But hey, nobody is perfect, right?

    Here's some vintage Pam, before she was corrupted by Tommy, Kid or Hollywood in general. She was sure a gorgeous girl..I don't care what you say.

    Notes:     Consisting of cuts previously released in 1981 thru 1984 this collection demonstrates the lighter edge of eighties angst. Melodies, fantastic guitar sounds and electronics all blend to make for a delicious stew. This is all in retrospect of course, I kind of dismissed these guys the first time around as disco marketed electo-dance. But no, on recent listenings these songs can stand on their own as classics of the period. I remember an ethereal video for the "Dancing Horses" cut and it was very similar to the shadowed front cover. Very nice indeed boys.

    Notes: This was the record that brought the band their worldwide appeal. With material like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "New Years Day" the record couldn't help but be a hit. Intelligent vocals, spare, thoughtfully placed guitar accents. Still a record to hold up for comparison with other classics. This was before the band grew too large for small crowds and fashion and a dance beat weren't part of the program. I believe that I've read that the cover subject was a neighbor of Bono's and it was a matter of the photographer just being in the right place to capture the shots. Excellent album and a great cover. Can't ask for more than that can ya?

    Notes: From out of the scrub brush on the edge of the desert comes a trio who were making their brand of music well before alt-country and Americana were the new thing to come down the 'pike.
    Don't get me wrong, I love the alt-America stuff, but there is something right and real about the Puppets and the songs they sing. This record is a bit more mellow than I remembered the first time around, but that in no way reduces the amount of pleasure to be gotten from a few repeated listenings.
    The cover art appears to be painted in thick layers in a slightly southwestern palette. Hey, any cover with a bottle of Tabasco on it is welcome at my table, any meal of the day.

    Notes: A Mango Records release. This reggae record skanks along and drags you with it. The title track alone is reason enough to own this one. Find it and give it a listen.

    Notes: An early set of tunes by the B-52's on a 6 song EP. Remixed for party playing and group dancing. Cocktail madness well ahead of the curve the '52's were a band to reckon with. Big hair in a good way, flashy threads and harmonies that are out of this world. It's fun stuff from the colorful cover to the innermost grooves. Turn it up and watch 'em wriggle on the dance floor.

I Love the 80's - Roxy Music

    Roxy Music are an English art rock group founded in the early 1970s by art school graduate Bryan Ferry (vocals and keyboards). The band existed from 1971 through 1983, then reunited for a concert tour in 2001, and have announced that they will be recording a new album in 2005-2006 for a 2007 release.

    The group's name was partly an homage to the titles of old cinemas and dance halls, and partly a pun on the word 'rock.' (Ferry first named the band Roxy, but learning of an American band with the same name prompted the alteration of the name.)



    The juxtaposition of nostalgic and contemporary (or futuristic) themes was a distinctive feature of the band, particularly in their earliest incarnation. The group is noted for their combination of idiosyncratic experimentation and sophisticated wit, evident in their literate lyrics, restrained instrumental virtuosity, and highly developed visual presentation (mainly directed by Ferry) which expropriated imagery from the realms of high fashion, kitsch, and commercial photography.

    Roxy Music were a significant influence on the early English punk movement, as well as providing a model for many "New Wave" acts and the subsequent New Romantic and experimental electronic groups of the early 1980s. Ferry and co-founding member Brian Eno have also had broadly influential solo careers, and Eno in particular has emerged one of the most significant record producers of the late 20th century, with credits including landmark albums by acts such as Devo, Talking Heads and U2.
